Single-Jet Water Meter is a water meter used to measure the flow of cold water and hot water. It features a single nozzle (jet) design and is a common household and commercial water meter.

The operating principle of a single-flow water meter is based on measurements related to the velocity of water flowing through the meter. As water passes through the meter, the force of the flow causes a blade, or rotor, to spin. The faster the water flow, the faster it spins. This rotation is registered by a counting device and is measured and recorded in volume units of water (usually cubic meters or gallons).
