Ultrasonic water meters usually consist of a housing, ultrasonic sensor, computing unit and display. The casing protects the electronic equipment inside the water meter and is connected to the pipeline through the water inlet and outlet. The ultrasonic sensor is responsible for transmitting and receiving ultrasonic pulses and transmitting the data to the computing unit for processing. The calculation unit will calculate the water flow according to the received data, and display the result on the display screen of the water meter.
