A multi-jet water meter is a type of water meter used to measure the flow rate and volume of water in residential, commercial, and industrial applications. It is called "multi-jet" because it utilizes multiple water jets to measure the flow.

The design of a multi-jet water meter involves a water inlet that splits into multiple channels or jets. These jets are directed tangentially at an impeller or turbine inside the meter. As water flows through the jets, it causes the impeller to rotate. The rotation speed of the impeller is directly proportional to the flow rate of the water passing through the meter.
