A volumetric water meter is a type of flow meter that measures the volume of water passing through it. It is commonly used in residential, commercial, and industrial applications to accurately measure the amount of water being consumed or processed. Volumetric water meters typically consist of a chamber with a fixed volume that fills up as water passes through it, causing a rotating mechanism to turn. The rotation is then recorded and converted into a reading of the amount of water that has passed through the meter.
